A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ADOPTING THE CITY COUNCIL'S AREAS OF
EMPHASIS AND PRIORITIES FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS
FOR FISCAL YEARS 2006-2011
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council sets five-year areas of emphasis and priorities
to help set the direction of the City; and
WHEREAS, all the areas of emphasis and priorities that the Council sets allows the city
departments to develop objectives and work programs that work towards achieving
these goals over the next five years; and
WHEREAS, the results of the five-year areas of emphasis and priorities are used to
measure the progress the City has made in furthering the Mission of the City.
WHEREAS, the five-year areas of emphasis and priorities of the Council for 2006-2011,
are attached to this Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, California, hereby adopts the five-year areas of emphasis and priorities for
2006-2011.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City on the 2nd of July, 2007, by the following vote, to wit:
