CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWITION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
BRUCE JACK
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF RITTER CENTER
WHEREAS, Bruce Jack has been Executive Director of Ritter Center since 2001 and has
worked tirelessly for the past 6 '/2 years; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure at Ritter Center, he guided the organization to be one of the
premier service centers in Marin County for homeless and vulnerable people;
and
WHEREAS, Bruce was instrumental in building the Health Center at Ritter Center into a
licensed community clinic, serving people without health insurance at no cost;
and
WHEREAS, Bruce has worked with the City of San Rafael and with the County of Marin to
design partnerships that benefit those individuals most in need of care: the
homeless and the marginally housed; and
WHEREAS, Bruce has provided leadership to make Ritter Center an agency that provides
many valuable services for individuals and families to be successful and
productive in the San Rafael community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby commend Bruce Jack for his years of exemplary service to the residents of the City
of San Rafael and express sincere appreciation for his efforts in the community.
