1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO, THREE-YEAR TERMS ON THE SAN
RAFAEL BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE, WITH TERMS TO EXPIRE END OF
NOVEMBER. 2002 (CC) - File 9-2-55
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Shawn Curtin Jeff Scott Russ Young
Preston McCoy Brian Walsh
Andy O'Neill was unable to attend interview; however, his application was considered.
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Miller seconded, to
appoint Shawn Curtin and Preston McCoy to fill three-year terms on the Bicycle and
Pedestrian Advisory Committee, terms to expire end of November, 2002. Brian Walsh
was appointed as an alternate.

ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen & Heller
2. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENT TO FILL ONE, FOUR-YEAR TERM ON THE SAN
RAFAEL PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION. WITH TERM TO EXPIRE END OF OCTOBER. 2003 (CC)
File 9-2-4
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Rick Lewis Carol Painter Armando Quintero
Jack Colbourn was unable to attend interview; however, his application was
considered.
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Miller seconded, to
appoint Armando Quintero to fill one, four-year term on the San Rafael Park and
Recreation Commission, term to expire end of October, 2003.

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
ABSTAINING: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller, (as she was not Dresent during all the
interviews).
3. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENT TO FILL ONE. TWO-YEAR TERM ON THE
MARIN/SONOMA MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT BOARD. WITH TERM TO EXPIRE END OF
DECEMBER, 2001 (CC) - File 9-2-9
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Waldo Bascom Roy Smith
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Phillips seconded, to
appoint Roy Smith to fill one, two-year term on the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector
Control District Board, with term to expire end of December, 2001.
