the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1543 entitled:

of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at
a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of said City

ORDINANCE NO. 1543
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SECTION
19.10.060(3) OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO HOURS
OF USE IN OPEN SPACE LANDS.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Title 19, Chapter 19.10, Section 19.10.060, Subsec-
tion (3) of the Municipal Code of the City of San Rafael is hereby
amended as follows:
(3) Hours of Use. No person shall be allowed to enter, loiter
or remain in or on any City open space lands any later than one
half hour after sunset or earlier than one half hour before sunrise
without prior written permission from the Public Works Department.
SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portion of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby declares that it would have adopted the ordinance
and each section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsec-
tions, sentences, clauses or phrases shall be declared invalid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall
be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after is final pas-
sage.

and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of
