the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1415 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
SECTION 2.16.360 OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE (POWERS AND DLTIES
OF THE POLICE ADVISORY COMMISSION)
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, held on the fifth day of
October , 1981, published as required by City Charter in the -
San Rafael News/Pointer , a newspaper published in the City
of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at
a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the nineteenth day of October , 1981, by -the following
vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Nixon

ORDINANCE NO. 1415
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SECTION 2.16.360 OF THE
SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE (POWERS AND DUTIES OF
THE POLICE ADVISORY COMMISSION)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. Title 2, Chapter 2.16, Section 2.16.360 (1)
Powers and Duties., of the San Rafael Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read and provide as follows:
(1) To advise and make recommendations to the City Council
regarding priorities, policies, programs and practices of the Police
Department, specifically excluding labor relations and personnel
matters as the same relate to the bargaining and negotiation process.
DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in
full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No. 1415 was read and intro-
duced at a RPqular meeting of the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, held on the 5th day of October , 1981, and
ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
Rafael at a Regular meeting of the Council to be held on the
19th day of October 1981.
