1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL TWO (2) POSITIONS ON THE FIRE COMMISSION: (CC) - File
9-2-5
At meeting of March 5, 1990, Council authorized City Clerk to call for applications to
fill two vacancies on the Fire Commission with deadline for receipt of applications set
for Tuesday, March 27, 1990.
Applicants interviewed were Dale Bartley, Charles I. Daniels, Jr., Philip J. Downs, Daniel
Greely, Jerome P. Lucey and Roger J. O'Donnell. Mr. Daniels requested he be considered
only for the unexpired term to expire the end of March, 1992, if appointed.
Councilmember Breiner moved and Councilmember Boro seconded, to reappoint Roger J. O'Donnell
to fill the 4 -year term to the end of March, 1994.
AYES: COUNCILMIEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILNEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
Councilmember Breiner moved and Councilmember Boro seconded, to appoint Charles I. Daniels,
Jr., to fill the 2 -year term to the end of March, 1992.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
Council requested that Mr. Daniel Greely's name be kept on the list to be contacted for
future appointments.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
