1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS DUE TO EXPIRATION OF:
a. TWO TERMS ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION (CC- File 9-2-6
b. ONE TERM ON THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD (ARC ITECT) (CC) - File 9-2-39
At meeting of May 21, 1990, Council authorized City Clerk to call for applications to
fill two positions on the Planning Commission and one Architect position on the Design
Review Board. Call for applications was due to expiration of all three four year terms
as of the end of June, 1990, receipt of applications was set for Tuesday, June 12, 1990,
at 12:00 Noon. Planning Commissioner Ross Cobb indicated he would not seek reappointment.
a. Planning Commission
Ten applications were received by deadline. Applicants interviewed were Linda Bellatorre,
Paul Cohen, Richard Comfort, Duane Kime Dave Korzec, Jan Miller, Sherry Rogers, Stanley
A. Yates and Larry Paul. Barbara Heller, who was unable to make the interview, asked if
Council would put off their decision in order to interview her at a later date. Council
declined to grant her request.
After discussion, Councilmember Boro moved and Councilmember Breiner seconded, to appoint
Linda Bellatorre to a four year term on the Planning Commission and reappointed Planning
Commissioner Paul Cohen to a four year term, with terms to expire the end of June, 1994.

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
b. Design Review Board (Architect)
Four applications were received by deadline. Applicants interviewed were Larry Paul,
Thomas Lollini, Clarence Mamuyac and David Sachs.
After discussion, Councilmember Thayer moved and Councilmember Shippey seconded, to
reappoint Thomas Lollini to a four year term on the Design Review Board, with term to
expire the end of June, 1994.

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
As directed by Council, Planning Director Pendoley to request the Design Review Board
to appoint a Chair for their meetings. Council also requested that all applicants' names
be kept on file to be contacted should a future vacancy occur.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
