CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Gayle O'Hara
Department from December 1990
Dispatcher and Records Clerk; and
TO
GAYLE WHARA
has been a member of the San Rafael Police
to July 2000 serving as a Police Communications
WHEREAS, Gayle made significant contributions to the San Rafael Police
Department in her assignment as a Police Communications Dispatcher; and
WHEREAS, Gayle's efforts have resulted in an improved community and law
enforcement relationship in San Rafael as evidenced by letters from appreciative
citizens thanking her for not just her help but her compassion, and letters of
appreciation from officers and dispatchers acknowledging her efforts and
professionalism in her job, including one commendation by a patrol sergeant for
locating a stolen vehicle on her way to work; and
WHEREAS, all
duties were greeted
dedication; and
those who met Gayle in connection with her law enforcement
with enthusiasm, treated with respect and impressed by her
WHEREAS, Gayle was honorably retired from the San Rafael Police Department
in July 2000 following ten years of dedicated service to our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby express their sincerest appreciation to Police Records Clerk Gayle
O'Hara for her ten years of dedicated service and on behalf of all the citizens of our
community wish her well in the future.
