RESOLUTION NO. 10973
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WILLIAM "BART' SNYDER
WHEREAS, William "Bart" Snyder has been a member of the San Rafael Police
Department from November, 1996 to August, 2000 serving as a uniformed officer and
a member of the Street Crimes Unit; and
WHEREAS, Bart worked tirelessly in service to the community, displaying
uncommon professionalism and dedication to the City of San Rafael in every task
assigned him; and
WHEREAS, all those who met Bart in connection with his law enforcement
duties were greeted with enthusiasm, treated with respect and impressed by his
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Bart's liaison work with the Marin County Major Crimes Task Force
and the Coordination of Probation Enforcement Team significantly enhanced their
effectiveness and the safety of our community; and
WHEREAS, Bart was honorably retired from the San Rafael Police Department
in August 2000 following four years of dedicated service to our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the City of San
_ Rafael hereby express their sincerest appreciation to Officer William "Bart" Snyder for
his years of dedicated service and on behalf of all the citizens of our community wish
him well in the future.
