CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
WARREN TAYLOR
WHEREAS, Warren Taylor has been a member of the San Rafael Police
Department from 1988 to 1999 serving both as a reserve officer and uniformed officer;
and
WHEREAS, Warren took the extraordinary step of sacrificing a lucrative
business career to serve the citizens of San Rafael as a full time police officer; and
WHEREAS, Warren worked tirelessly in service to the community, displaying
uncommon professionalism and dedication to the City of San Rafael in every task
assigned him, in particular, that time spent on the downtown footbeat; and
WHEREAS, all those who met Warren in connection with his law enforcement
duties were greeted with enthusiasm, treated with respect and impressed by his
dedication; and
w &Atg•AS Warren was honorably retired from the San Rafael Police
Department in 1999 following 11 years of dedicated service to our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby express their sincerest appreciation to Officer Warren Taylor for his
years of dedicated service and on behalf of all the citizens of our community wish him
well in the future.
