CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Thomas W. Slagill
WHEREAS, Thomas W. Slagill began serving as a member of the San
Rafael Police Marine Auxiliary in September of 1991; and
WHEREAS, Tom volunteers his time to assist in patrolling the waterways
of San Rafael, contributing his time on weekends, nights and holidays to work
on the "Mission City" patrol boat, contributing to the safety and well being of
the boating public; and
WHEREAS, Tom can be counted on to work as an effective member of
the patrol boat crew. Tom is always looking for ways to improve his
performance and is eager to assist in the training of new crew members; and
WHEREAS, Tom is dedicated to the safety of the community and is
enthusiastic in sharing his knowledge of safe boating practices with others; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the time of his service to the community, Tom
has received many letters of thanks from members of the boating public for
service performed while working as a boat crewmember.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Council of the
_ . City of San Rafael hereby expresses their sincerest appreciation to Marine
Auxiliary Member Thomas Slagill for his 10 years of dedicated service to the
City of San Rafael as a Police Department Volunteer.
