CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
EDA LOCHTE
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, Eda Lochte has been the Director of the San Rafael Downtown Business
Improvement District (BID) since 1992; and
WHEREAS, Eda has provided enthusiasm and energy to promote the Downtown, and has
helped form a unified voice in the community for the Downtown merchants; and
WHEREAS, Eda has passionately promoted numerous community events for Downtown
including Greg Borrelli's May Madness Classic Car Parade, Trick or Treat down Fourth
Street, and the Winter Wonderland Snow Sledding & Holiday Parade of Lights, and;
WHEREAS, Eda has skillfully managed parking for the BID members, was the key force in
creating the BID's web site, and provided numerous other services to the Downtown
community, and;
WHEREAS, Eda has been known to appear as Raggedy Andy, Snow White, and Glenda
the Good Witch, all in the line of duty to support and promote the Downtown
merchants;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council hereby extends
its appreciation to Eda Lochte for over nine years of outstanding service to the Downtown
business community and the City of San Rafael as the Director of the San Rafael
Downtown Business Improvement District.
