RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
THE MARIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR
CHILD CARE SALARIES AT PICKLEWEED CHILDREN'S CENTER
IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,500.00 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been awarded a contract for child care
salaries at Pickleweed Children's Center in the amount of $8,500 for Fiscal Year
2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to sign
designated contract documents with the Marin County Community Development
Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael enter into this transaction with the Marin County Community Development
Agency to provide child care salaries at Pickleweed Children's Center in the amount of
$8,500 for Fiscal Year 2001-2002.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the 17th day of December, 2001,

GOALS, TASKS, AND OBJECTIVES
City of San Rafael - Community Services will use CDBG funds for Staff salaries for a child
care center serving low income families. CDBG funds will be expended by December 31,
2002.
The Operating Agency agrees to attend training on the requirements of Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. At least 51 % of clients
served with CDBG funds will meet low-income requirements established by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
