RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT
$300,000.00 FROM THE CITY TO THE SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALBERT PARK LANE IMPROVEMENTS, FROM
THE ALBERT PARK LANE IMPROVEMENT FUND (110-4421-738-8000).
WHEREAS, Albert Park Lane Improvements and Parkside Childcare
Center Landscaping projects were combined into a single project for construction
expediency and cost saving through the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, the project will be re -bid by the Redevelopment Agency,
pursuant to staff recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the project will be administered by the Redevelopment
Agency, it is jointly funded by the City and the Redevelopment Agency, and, in order to
pay the Albert Park Lane portion of the project, it is necessary to transfer funds from the
appropriate City accounts to the Redevelopment Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED
by the City Council of the said City of San Rafael, that funds be appropriated in the
amount of $300,000.00 and transferred from the City to the San Rafael Redevelopment
Agency for the construction of Albert Park Lane Improvements, from the Albert Park Lane
Improvements fund (110-4421-738-8000).
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 2nd. day of April, 2001, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Phillips
