RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION

TIM COFFEY
Jim Coffey began his career with the City of San
Rafael Fire Department January 4, 1971, achieving
his current position as Captain August 1, 1979; and
Jim has always been willing to extend a helping
hand to coworkers both on and off duty; and
Captain Coffey takes to heart his responsibility to
the community and is proud of his profession; and
Jim does not hesitate to volunteer for committees,
extra training, writing guidelines, stress
management and community fire service as well as
securing additional training for coworkers; and
Jim is respected for his high morals and ethics;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of San Rafael hereby designate Captain Jim
Coffey as the Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2001,
and express sincere appreciation for his dedication, professionalism
and outstanding service to the residents and employees of the City of
San Rafael.
