CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
TONY GILLOTTE
WHEREAS, Tony has been a member of the Novato Police Department
since 1970, and has been promoted through the ranks to his
current position of Lieutenant; and
WHEREAS, Tony joined the Novato Police Department Special Response
Team in 1984. Tony earned the position of Team Leader in
1990 and later earned the position of Team Commander in
1996; and
WHEREAS, Tony has made many significant contributions to the Novato
Police Department and their Special Response Team.
Through his dedication and commitment to excellence, Tony
has also contributed greatly to the success of all the Special
Response and Special Weapons and Tactics Teams in Marin
County through organized joint training operations. This has
resulted in improved and safer law enforcement services to all
our communities; and
WHEREAS, Tony is retiring from the Novato Police Department in June
2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council hereby
commend Lieutenant Tony Crillotte for his willingness to go above and beyond
his duty to the City of Novato, and for sharing the benefits of his training and
experience with the members of the City of San Rafael Police Department's
Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
