RESOLUTION NO. 10833
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Linda Spackman
WHEREAS, Linda Spackman has served on the Cultural Affairs
Commission from May 3, 1993 until the end of April 2001, giving
generously of her time to work for the cultural life of her
community; and
WHEREAS, Linda served four terms as Chair of the Cultural
Affairs Commission; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure on the Cultural Affairs Commission
Linda was a voice of reason, worked tirelessly as a consensus
builder, and served as a liaison between the staff and
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Linda's involvement in the Historic Plaques Project,
the Street Painting Artists' Dinner and numerous other projects led
to their success; and
WHEREAS, Linda used her expertise in real estate to aid Falkirk
staff in developing rental agreements with long term tenants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the City of
San Rafael hereby commends Linda Spackman for her years of
exemplary service to the community as a member of the
Cultural Affairs Commission.
