PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION

Jay Yinger
WHEREAS, Jay Yinger has served on the Cultural Affairs
Commission from May 5, 1997 until the end of April 2001, giving
generously of his time to work for the cultural life of his
community; and
WHEREAS, Jay served as both Chair and Vice Chair of the
Cultural Affairs Commission; and
WHEREAS, during Jay's tenure on the Cultural Affairs
Commission he served as Chairman of the Historic Preservation
Committee and provided leadership in that area; and
WHEREAS, year after year, Jay organized and worked tirelessly
on the Street Painting Artists' Dinner, insuring a successful event;
and
WHEREAS, Jay's involvement in the Historic Plaques Project, the
Falkirk Rose Garden Project, and numerous other projects led to
their success.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
San Rafael hereby extends its appreciation to Jay Yinger for his
devoted service to the community.
