CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
ANN CREW
WHEREAS,
Ann Crew has been active in San Rafael as a resident and member of the
North Rafael Coalition of Residents, a member of the Marin Fellowship of
Unitarians, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a member
of the Vision North San Rafael Steering Committee; and
WHEREAS,
In March, 1998, Ann was appointed by the San Rafael City Council to the
North San Rafael Vision In Action (VIA) Committee charged with creating
an action plan to promote and sponsor projects to implement Vision North
Sar: Rafael; and
WHEREAS,
Ann volunteered for three years to implement the goals and policies of
Vision North San Rafael; and
WHEREAS,
Ann contributed in a substantial way to the success of the vision through her
informative and imaginative articles for the Terra Linda Newspointer ; and
WHEREAS,
Ann, in addition to serving as co-chair at the VIA Committee meetings,
served as chair of the Promenade Subcommittee, served on the Entryway/
Beautification Subcommittee, served on the Town Center Subcommittee,
participated as a designer for the Promenade design charette, and utilized her
architectural design talents for all new development projects reviewed by the
Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council hereby express
sincere appreciation and gratitude to Ann Crew for her substantial contribution of time and
effort to implement Vision North Sar: Rafael, and for her commitment to the betterment of the
San Rafael community.
