RESOLUTION NO. 10843
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
FRED PFEIFER
WHEREAS, Fred Pfeifer has been active in San Rafael as a resident and member of the
Rafael Meadows Homeowners Association; and
WHEREAS, In March, 1998, Fred was appointed by the San Rafael City Council to the North San
Rafael Vision In Action (VIA) Committee charged with creating an action plan to
promote and sponsor projects to implement Vision North San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Fred volunteered for three years to implement the goals and policies of Vision North
San Rafael.
WHEREAS, Fred contributed in a substantial way to the success of the vision through his
informative and thorough knowledge of neighborhood issues in the Rafael
Meadows area; and
WHEREAS, Fred, in addition to attending the VIA Committee meetings, served as Committee liasion
by attending neighborhood meetings for the development of the PG&E site, utilized his
knowledge of the neighborhood to review redevelopment projects along Merrydale
Road, served as Committee liasion to the City Hall at the Mall Grand Opening
Committee, and participated in the community design workshop for the development of
the PG&E site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council hereby express sincere
appreciation and gratitude to Fred Pfeifer for his substantial contribution of time and effort to implement
Vision North San Rafael, and for his commitment to the betterment of the San Rafael community.
