A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE REPLACEMENT AND PURCHASE
OF MISCELLANEOUS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael utilizes the State of California's bid
system, whereby the State having initiated sealed bids, or proposals, for vehicles to be
purchased by the State; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is utilizing the State bid procedure to
purchase miscellaneous sedans, sweeper and trucks in accordance with the vehicle
specifications on file in the State of California's Department of General Procurement
Division; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department reviewed said vehicle
specifications and have determined that the State bid vehicles met the needs of this
community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
San Rafael that the items described in the State bid contract documents and as attached to
the staff report, is hereby accepted and that the purchase orders for the said equipment be
hereby authorized.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 5°i day of February, 2001, by the following vote, to wit:
