A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR OR
DEPUTY DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE FEDERAL AND/OR STATE
FUNDING AGREEMENTS THROUGH THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael (CITY) is eligible to receive Federal
and/or State funding for certain Transportation Projects, through the California
Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements,
Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements need to be executed with
the California Department of Transportation before such funds could be claimed; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of San Rafael wishes to delegate
authorization to execute these agreements and any amendments thereto to the Public
Works Director or Deputy Director;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works
Director or Deputy Director be authorized to execute all Master Agreements, Program
Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements, Fund Transfer Agreements and
any amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 19`h day of March, 2001, by the following vote, to wit:
