CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
BILL KAY
WHEREAS, Bill Kay, Police Dept. Volunteer, has been serving as a
volunteer with the City of San Rafael since the inception of the volunteer program,
January 1, 1988, and has donated 2,621 hours of service to this department; and
WHEREAS, Bill has done many different duties in an exemplary manner,
including Investigations, Personnel, Training and the "Are you O.K.?" Program; and
WHEREAS, in Bill's current assignment as a Missing Persons Specialist
he has assisted in the investigation of hundreds of missing persons cases; and
WHEREAS, during the course of his duties, Bill has been directly
instrumental in the recovery and safe return of dozens of missing persons; and
WHEREAS, Bill has demonstrated himself to be a selfless and dedicated
volunteer who has diligently donated thousands of hours of hard work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of San Rafael hereby extend their sincere appreciation to Bill Kay for his years of
outstanding and dedicated service to the City of San Rafael as a member of the Police
Department Volunteer Program.
