CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
VICTOR RAPHAEL
WHEREAS, Victor Raphael, Police Dept. Volunteer, has served as a
volunteer with the City of San Rafael since February 1, 1988 and continuously until his
retirement on May 31, 1999. Victor has donated 4,835 hours of volunteer service; and
WHEREAS, Victor has been responsible for the smooth operation of the
regularly scheduled Vehicle Maintenance Program for the San Rafael Police Department,
by driving vehicles both to and from the San Rafael Corporation Yard; and
WHEREAS, Victor has devoted countless hours coming into the San
Rafael Police Department five days a week, fifty two weeks a year, in any kind of
weather, to transport vehicles needing repair to the Corporation Yard; and
WHEREAS, Victor would then be responsible for transporting vehicles
that were ready to go back into service from the Corporation Yard to the Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, Victor has always performed this sometimes tedious task
with enthusiasm, always maintaining a great attitude, and with a warm smile on his face.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of San Rafael hereby extend their appreciation and thanks to Victor Raphael for
his outstanding and dedicated service to the City of San Rafael as volunteer.
