CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
JOHN VOLPE
WHEREAS, John Volpe began working for the City of San Rafael in May
of 1989 as a Marine Auxiliary Volunteer. John also attended the Police Academy in
1990, raising himself up to a Reserve Police Officer; and
WHEREAS, John volunteers his time to assist in patrolling the waterways
of San Rafael. John volunteers most of his weekends and holidays to work on the Patrol
Boat, often working at night; and
WHEREAS, You can always count on John to work as an effective
member of the Patrol Boat. John is always looking for ways to improve his performance
as a crewmember. He is also eager to assist in the training of new crew members; and
WHEREAS, John is dedicated to the community, and is enthusiastic in
sharing his knowledge of boating skills with others; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the time of his service with the City, John has
received many letters of thanks while working as a Marine Auxiliary Volunteer, and is
also well known to the boating community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of San Rafael hereby extend their appreciation and thanks to John Volpe for his
outstanding and dedicated service to the City of S
