CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
KEN WALKMEISTER
WHEREAS, Ken Walkmeister, Police Dept. Volunteer, has been serving
as a volunteer with the City of San Rafael since August 1, 1988, and has donated 1,749
hours of service to this department; and
WHEREAS, Ken assists with the court run duties on Wednesday
mornings of each week, delivering in -custody reports as well as other documents to the
Marin County District Attorneys Office, the Marin County Courts and to the Marin
County Juvenile Hall Offices; and
WHEREAS, Ken delivers and picks up the police department crime scene
film at the photo processing lab on a weekly basis; and
WHEREAS, Ken also has the arduous and time consuming task of
separating these photographs and matching them to the corresponding case numbers, as
well as labeling each individual photo and matching negatives, for filing purposes; and
WHEREAS, Ken is extremely dependable and frequently offers to
volunteer more time to complete an overwhelming task. Ken is always pleasant and ready
with a friendly smile. Ken is a pleasure to work with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of San Rafael hereby extend their appreciation and thanks to Ken Walkmeister
for his outstanding and dedicated service to the City
