A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL AWARDING CONTRACT TO
SMEAL FIRE APPARATUS COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $450,450 FOR 75 -FOOT
AERIAL LADDER TRUCK FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized Fire Department Staff to
solicit bids for one Fire Ladder Truck; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for this item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received and reviewed by Fire Department
Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that the
following action be taken:
That Smeal Fire Apparatus Company of Snyder, Nebraska, be designated as low
bidder for one Fire Ladder Truck in the amount of $450,450.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on the 18'h day of January, 2000 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
