RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL WAIVING PAYMENT
OF FEES FOR THE USE PERMIT AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND DESIGN
REVIEW PERMIT APPLICATION (UP 99-52/ED 99-136) FOR THE RITTER
HOUSE TO RELOCATE THE DAY SERVICES CENTER AND SECURE
ADDITIONAL OFFICE SPACE AT 826 SECOND STREET
WHEREAS, on December 9, 1999 Ritter House submitted a Use Permit application and
Environmental and Design Review Permit application to relocate the Day Service Center
and secure additional office space for the Ritter House facility currently located in an
adjacent parcel at 12 Ritter Street, and,
WHEREAS, Ritter House submitted a December 8, 1999 letter requesting a fee waiver
in the amount of $5,900.00 for the Use Permit and Environmental and Design Review
Permit applications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of San Rafael that the
requirement for payment of Planning Division application fees for the use permit and
design review permit is hereby waived because the organization provides a needed
community service;
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City on Tuesday, the eighteenth day of January, 2000, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
