CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
CHESTER R. WILLIAMS
WHEREAS, Chester began his career with the City of San Rafael Department
of Public Works on June 21, 1989; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his regular Street Division duties, Chester began
supervising the men and women of the Marin County Adult
Offender Work Program three years ago; and
WHEREAS, Chester has done an outstanding job managing the hand
sweeping crew, which has removed several tons of debris from
San Rafael streets; and
WHEREAS, Chester responds to citizen service requests quickly and
efficiently thus helping to make San Rafael a more attractive
place to live and work; and
WHEREAS, Chester is well respected by his co-workers because he is an
individual who sincerely cares about people; and
WHEREAS, Chester is a valuable employee to the City of San Rafael not only
for his outstanding work with the Adult Offender Worker
Program but because of his commitment to the concept of
customer service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael designate Chester R. Williams as the Employee of the Quarter for
the fourth quarter of 1999 and express sincere appreciation for his dedication,
professionalism and outstanding service to the residents and employees of the
City of San Rafael.
