CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS MS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
KENNETH A. NORDHOFF
WHEREAS, Ken Nordhoff has been recognized by city managers throughout California for his
accomplishments and achievements to the City of San Rafael and the
community; and
WHEREAS, Ken has demonstrated considerable expertise in finance, budgeting, information
systems, labor relations and human resources; and
WHEREAS, under Ken's leadership, Management Services has regularly exceeded its
departmental goals; and
WHEREAS, Ken has accomplished notable milestones for the City of San Rafael in
information technology,, financial reporting and human resources; and
WHEREAS, through word and deed Ken has made San Rafael a better place to live and
work; and
WHEREAS, Ken is one overall nice guy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby
expresses their deepest appreciation to KENNETH A NORDHOFF for his commitment to the
City of San Rafael and San Rafael Community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council congratulates Mr. Nordhoff for being awarded
the League of California Cities, City Manager's Department 2000 John H. Nail Memorial Award.
