A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE STREET CLOSURE OF ANDERSEN
DRIVE, FROM WEST FRANCISCO BLVD. TO A STREET ON SUNDAY,
MARCH 19, 2000 FROM 6:OOA.M. TO 2:00 P.M. FOR THE PACIFIC
BELL PARK PITCH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as
follows:
WHEREAS, Pacific Bell park is promoting its opening in San Rafael on
Sunday, March 19 with a one mile baseball relay; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to improve baseball
facilities in San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is co -sponsoring the event to provide
family entertainment and service information to the public in Albert Park
Stadium;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the
Street Closure of Andersen Drive, from West Francisco Blvd. to A Street
on Sunday, March 19, 2000, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Pacific Bell
Park Pitch.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said city held on the
7'' day of February, 2000, by the following vote, to wit:
