A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR OR
THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO BE THE
SIGNATORY ON PROJECT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR
TEA 21 FUNDED PROJECTS (i.e., ANDERSEN DRIVE
REHABILITATION, LINCOLN AVENUE REHABILITATION).
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael as follows:
WHEREAS, on March 15, 1999, the City Council approved Resolution
10377 authorizing the Public Works Director to file an application for the Transportation
Equity Act for the TEA 21 - 75% Surface Transportation Funds for the construction and
rehabilitation of the 1) Andersen Drive Rehabilitation Project and 2) Lincoln Avenue
Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 10377 stated the assurance for the City to
complete both projects; and
WHEREAS, both projects require considerable document processing that
need to be signed by an official so authorized by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
San Rafael that the Public Works Director, or the Deputy Director of Public Works, is
hereby authorized to sign such documents on behalf of the City of San Rafael with the
State of California -Department of Transportation.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 6`h day of March, 2000, by the following vote, to wit:
