RESOLUTION REJECTING BID PROPOSALS FOR CITY HALL THIRD
FLOOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FURNITURE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael as follows:
WHEREAS, on the 91h day of February, 2000, pursuant to due and legal notice
published in the manner provided by law, inviting sealed bids for proposals for the work
hereinafter mentioned, as more fully appears from the Affidavit of Publication thereof on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, the City Clerk of
said City did publicly open all sealed bids or proposals for doing the following work in
said City, to wit:
"CITY HALL THIRD FLOOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FURNITURE "
; and
PROJECT NO. CDD2000-02
WHEREAS, Staff reviewed all bid proposals and found that they varied from the
bid document specifications and that these deficiencies were such that a contract could
not be awarded; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain bid proposals meeting the project specifications
the project must be rebid.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council does hereby reject all bid proposals for the aforementioned project.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Community Development Director take
any and all such actions and make changes as may be necessary to accomplish the
purpose of this resolution.
I, Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on the 20`h day of March, 2000, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Miller, Phillips & Vice -Mayor Heller
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Mayor Boro
