PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO

WHEIREA3, on April 6, 1994, the City Council established the Budget Oversight
Committee (BOC); and charged the Committee to review City operations from the
private sector perspective and evaluate the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the
various City services; and
WHEIREA-5, on October 19, 1998, the Budget Oversight Committee became the
Strategic Financial Advisory Board (SFAB); with a redefined responsibility toward
identifying strategic issues and the related fiscal challenges posed by these issues;
and
WHETREA3, Leo Isotalo has served as a member since August 3, 1998,
contributed many hours of service and dedication, and has assisted in making San
Rafael a better community in which to live and work.
MW, THE REF0 RE, 3E IT RE5LLUE l7_ that the city council of the city
of San Rafael, by adoption of this Resolution, commends Leo Isotalo for his record
of voluntary service on the Budget Oversight Committee/Strategic and Financial
Advisory Board.
