PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION

WHMREA3, on April 6, 1994, the City Council established the Budget Oversight
Committee (BOC); and charged the Committee to review City operations from the
private sector perspective and evaluate the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the
various City services; and
WHE tREA5, on October 19, 1998, the Budget Oversight Committee became the
Strategic Financial Advisory Board (SFAB); with a redefined responsibility toward
identifying strategic issues and the related fiscal challenges posed by these issues;
and
WHEIREA3, Bob Parr has participated in Budget Oversight Committee and
Strategic Financial Advisory Board meeting as an advisor since April 6, 1994,
contributed many hours of service and dedication, and has assisted in making San
Rafael a better community in which to live and work.

of San Rafael, by adoption of this Resolution, commends Bob Parr for his record of
voluntary service on the Budget Oversight Committee/Strategic and Financial
Advisory Board.
