A RESOLUTION APPROVING TO CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE
PARKSIDE CHILD CARE CENTER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as
follows:
WHEREAS, The City has provided child care services for twenty years at
the Short School Children's Center; and
WHEREAS, The lease for the use of the Short School facility will not be
extended beyond December 2001; and
WHEREAS, The City remains committed to continued child care service
to families in the community; and
WHEREAS, The City has authorized a new child care center to be located
in Albert Park; and
WHEREAS, The City has approved the design for a new child care center;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED The City Council Approves The Call
for Bids for the Parkside Child Care Center.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday,
the 17th day of July, 2000, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Eoro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
