RESOLUTION NO. 10702
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
ROBERT KLEINERT
WHEREAS, Robert (Bob) Kleinert has loyally and effectively served the
Town of Tiburon for thirty-one years, and has held the position of Town Manager
for twenty-seven years; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon, incorporated in 1964, is Marin's newest
municipality, and Bob Kleinert helped guide the town as it underwent growing
pains, while maintaining an enviable quality of life and old railroad town flavor.
With Bob Kleinert's help, the town has built handsome and functional public
facilities, including a town hall, library, and police facility, as well as purchased
substantial open space; and
WHEREAS, Bob Kleinert has reached out to all members of the
community for inclusion in the community decision-making process, and has
always maintained excellent relations with city councils throughout his tenure,
despite changes in personalities, agendas, and emphasis; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon is far better off today than when Mr.
Kleinert began his service; and
WHEREAS, Bob Kleinert has chosen to retire, while remaining a resident
of Tiburon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby expresses its respect and admiration for Bob Kleinert's
skillful management of the Town of Tiburon for over three decades.
