RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL WAIVING PAYMENT
OF FEES FOR MARIN HEAD START DAY CARE CENTER.
199 GREENFIELD AVENUE
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael has received a written request for a waiver of
application fees from Marin Head Start for the establishment of Day Care Center at 199
Greenfield Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 of General Plan 2000 encourages the retention and
establishment of childcare centers to meet city-wide needs; and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 further encourages the retention of childcare facilities "by
waiving all fees for proposed childcare centers"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously waived fees for similar projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council does
hereby waive construction related fees for the establishment of a daycare center at 199
Greenfield Avenue (Marin Head Start).
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City on Monday, the 4th day of December, 2000, by the following
vote, to wit:
