A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITYI COUNCIL APPROVING THE
RETIREMENT OF THE CITY LOAN TO THE MARIN COUNTY HISTORIAL
SOCIETY FOR THE MASTERPLAN OF BOYD PARK
WHEREAS, the City approved the loan of $20,000 to the Marin County Historical Society for a
masterplan for Boyd Park in February of 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City agreed to reimburse the Marin County Historical Society $21,000 for the re roofing
of the Boyd Gate House; and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Historical Society proposes to offset the City's obligation with the Society's
loan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby approves
the retirement of the City loan to the Marin County Historical Society for the masterplan of Boyd Park, in
exchange for the retirement of the City obligation to pay $21,000 towards the Boyd House re roofing
project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on MONDAY ,
the 1st day of MARCH . 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
