A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE COMPLETION OF
IMPROVEMENT WORK - "WOODLAND TERRACE HOMES SUBDIVISION"
(EXTENDED TO AND INCLUDING MARCH 16, 2000)
City Council,
Upon application of the Subdivider thereof, and due cause being shown this
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the time within which the construction
of the improvement work provided for in that certain Agreement between the City of San
Rafael and Woodland Terrace, LLC, as Subdivider, shall be completed, is hereby extended
to and includes the 16''. day of March, 2000.
I, Jeanne M. Leoncini, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 15th, day of March, 1999, by the
following vote, to wit:

We are writing to request anleitension of the subdivision agreement between•the-City of
San Rafael and Wbodlarid terrace LLC.
During the courseofthe excavation and off, -haul of materials from tete site ":we
encountered unexpected soils conditioaihat required'us to re-design.the rear retaining
wallstrn
the up -hill units. More importantly,the,heavy rains oaf last year rind the winter,raiins. this year have saturafed the soils 6ausi4g us to stop construction pending vier
conditions. At this point, itis impossib e1or us to -get equipment on the,upper part of the `
site until soil conditions' improlre. t ,'
We eXpect to completed he project this year and/request 4h extension ofone year to our
subdivision agreement.
