CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
BUCK KAMPHAUSEN
WHEREAS, Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery is located at 2500 Fifth Avenue,
and has been in business in San Rafael for over 100 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Buck Kamphausen, owner of Mt. Tamalpais
Cemetery, most generously and unselfishly donated a magnificent gift of a
casket, head stone and plot for our fallen friend, Officer Charlie (Kato)
Samuel of the San Rafael Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kamphausen and his staff assisted in coordinating
the graveside services, which was an integral part of the celebration of life
for Officer Samuel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of San Rafael, express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Mr. Kamphausen for his most generous donation, and for the
professional and caring manner in which he assisted with the celebration of
life services for Officer Samuel on March 9, 1999.
