A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL WAIVING FEES FOR 96 PILGRIM WAY (Marin Head
Start).
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has received a written request for a waiver of
construction related fees at 96 Pilgrim Way (Marin Head Start) for renovations to a
childcare facility; and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 of General Plan 2000 encourages the retention of
childcare centers to meet city wide needs ; and
WHEREAS, Policy LU -57 further encourages the retention of childcare facilities
"by waiving all fees for proposed childcare centers." ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously waived fees for similar projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
does hereby waive construction related fees for 96 Pilgrim Way (Marin Head Start)
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 170day of May, 1999, by the
following vote, to wit:
