RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROVING AN EXPENDITURE
FOR THE INSTALLATION AND PURCHASE
OF A RELOCATABLE CLASSROOM
FOR PICKLEWEED CHILDREN'S CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael authorize the purchase and installation of a
relocatable classroom to provide child care at Pickleweed Children's Center; and
WHEREAS, the relocatable classroom will require an expenditure not to exceed
$54,400.00; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the relocatable classroom is being made in a co-
operative purchase program with the Lompoc Unified School District and is
therefore exempt from the City's bidding requirements (SRMC § 2.55.260) and
WHEREAS, the Community Services Department will fund this expenditure from
existing child care funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael does approve an expenditure of up to and including $54,400.00 from Child Care
Division funds for the purchase of a relocatable classroom building for Pickleweed
Children's Center.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Tuesday, the sixth day of July,1999, by the
following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
