RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE MARIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AND AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
FOR CHILD CARE SALARIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000.00
WHEREAS,the City of San Rafael has been awarded a contract for child care
salaries in the amount of $10,000 for Fiscal Year 1999-2000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to sign
designated contract documents with the Marin County Community Development
Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael enter into this transaction with the Marin County Community Development
Agency to provide child care salaries in the amount of $10,000 for Fiscal Year 1999-
2000.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 201h day of December, 1999.

GOALS, TASKS, AND OBJECTIVES
The City of San Rafael Child Care Division will use CDBG funds toward the salaries of
staff who provide child care services for low income families during the period of
July 1, 1999 to June 30, 2000.
The majority of clients will meet low income requirements established by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
