HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 10322 (Strategic & Financial Advisory Board)RESOLUTION NO. 10322 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL APPROVING THE NAME CHANGE FROM THE BUDGET OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE TO THE STRATEGIC AND FINANCIAL ADVISORY BOARD AND ACCEPTING THE NEW PURPOSE OF THE BOARD. WHEREAS: The City Council formerly established the Budget Oversight Committee on April 18, 1994, and WHEREAS: The Budget Oversight Committee has fulfilled the purpose established since the formation of the Committee, and WHEREAS: The changes in direction of the City over the last four years have required the Budget Oversight Committee to expand its responsibilities to look beyond budget related issues and the original established purpose; and WHEREAS: The Budget Oversight Committee has reviewed both the naming of this appointed body and the purpose established for the Committee by the Council. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of San Rafael hereby changes the name of the Budget Oversight Committee to the Strategic and Financial Advisory Board and replaces the current purpose of the Committee with the new purpose developed by the Board, as shown in Exhibit A attached. I, JEANNE M.
