CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
DON VAUGHN
Whereas: Don Vaughn has been employed with the City of San Rafael
since August 4, 1969 and has been the Supervisor of the Streets
Department since September 15, 1986; and
Whereas: Don has consistently demonstrated work performance
excellence and an onging diligence in his work efforts during his 29 years
of employment; and
Whereas: Don demonstrates a commitment to "getting the job done",
no matter what it takes; and is to be commended for his hand work, and
Whereas: Don's cheerful approach to his job and fellow workers
makes the work place more pleasant for all employees, and
Whereas: Don played a vitally important role during the 1998 EI Nino
storms, serving the City and its citizens with unwavering dedication,
enthusiasm and effectiveness;
Now, therefore, be It resolved that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby designates DON VAUGHN as Employee of the Quarter for
the period ending September 30, 1998, and expresses appreciation, on
behalf of all of its residents, for his dedication and outstanding service to
our city„
