RESOLUTION NO. 10257
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
MIKE GROZA
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1998, the San Rafael City Council authorized the
formation of the Ad Hoc Dining Room Relocation Committee, and The Honorable
Eugene F. Lynch was then selected as facilitator for that Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Committee was charged with reviewing and discussing
the specifics of a proposal to resolve issues relating to relocation of the St.
Vincent de Paul dining facility and conditions of its operations; and
WHEREAS, although these have been highly contentious issues in the
community for 16 years, the Committee was able to achieve a level of consensus
that enabled it to move forward to resolution of the issues; and
WHEREAS, after meeting on May 7, May 21, June 4 and June 30 to carry
out this charge, a final report was prepared, setting forth the Committee's
recommendations to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, on July 9, 1998, the City Council accepted this report.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, on behalf of all of its residents, hereby commends th ommittee
