RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC USE,
SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, necessity and welfare require
that the easement hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for the benefit of the public
of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, California, that that certain grant deed of easement for public
use, executed by Joe Shekou and Heidi Shekou to the City of San Rafael, dated June 2,
1998, be and the same is hereby accepted and the Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
cause said conveyance to be duly recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of the said City held on the P. day of August, 1998,
by the following vote, to wit:

GRANT DEED
OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC USE.
JbC A-tJD kla91 -5,t+ 4-0 u (hereinafter called "Grantor" without
regard to number or gender) for an adequate consideration hereby GRANTS and conveys to the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a
municipal corporation, an EASEMENT over the concrete sidewalk on a strip of land hereinafter described for the purpose of
public use together with the right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom, in, on and across said strip of land and the
contiguous real property of Grantor. Grantor shall maintain said concrete sidewalk in good repair, and Grantee shall have
no maintenance responsibility
Said strip of land is located in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, and is more particularly described
as follows:
See Exhibit "A".
Grantor shall not plant, place or deposit anything in or on said strip of land which will damage or interfere with any of the
rights granted hereunder nor shall Grantor erect or construct any building or other structure or drill or operate any well
within said strip of land.
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and bind the heirs, successors, assigns of the respective parties hereto.

All that certain real property situate in the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, being an easement for public
sidewalk across Parcel 1 of that map titled "PARCEL MAP OF CIVIC
CENTER NORTH" as recorded in Book 24 of Parcel Maps at page 43,
Darin County Records, and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of said Parcel 1, said
corner also being the most northerly corner of the herein described
easement, thence, along the northwesterly line of said Parcel 1,
South 40°35'10" West, 851.23 feet to the beginning of a 30.00 foot
radius, tangent curve to the left; Thence, along said curve,
through a central angle of 48011'25", an arc distance of 25.23
feet; Thence leaving said northwesterly line, North 40035'10"
East, 209.68 feet to the beginning of a 16.00 foot radius non -
tangent curve, the radius point of which bears North 29002'59"
West; Thence, along said curve, through a central angle of
20°21'51", an arc distance of 5.69 feet; Thence, North 40035'10"
East, 66.00 feet to the oeginning of a 16.00 foot radius, tangent
curve to the left; Thence, along said curve, through a central
angle of 20°21'51", an arc distance of 5.69 feet; Thence, North
40o35'10" East, 586.77 feet to a point on the northeasterly line of
said Parcel 1; Thence along said northeasterly line North
49°24'50" (West, 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and
containing 0.201 acres more or less.
