CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Matthew T. Naclerio
Matt Naclerio, Assistant Director of Public Works, has been a valued
employee with the City of San Rafael since 1995; and
Matt served the City and its citizens with excellence, enthusiasm,
professionalism and outstanding dedication during his tenure; and
Matt has been instrumental in the successful management of the
Department of Public Works over the past three years and has played a
critical role in San Rafael's vitally important Capital Improvement
Projects and all other aspects of Public Works operations; and
WHEREAS, Matt has met each professional challenge with humanity and humor; and
WHEREAS,
perhaps most importantly, Matt's inspirational leadership, despite great
physical pain and quite limited athletic skills, led the "Men in Orange" to
notable and laudatory victory in the 1997 City Employee Bocce
Tournament; and
WHEREAS, Matt's resignation will leave a great void in the Public Works Department
and to the City of San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael acknowledge Matt's excellent work and congratulate him on his promotion
to Director of Publi Works for the City of Alameda, and wish him well in all his future
endeavors.
