RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL WAIVING PAYMENT
OF FEES FOR THE USE PERMIT TIME EXTENSION APPLICATION (UP 86-
36E) FOR HOMEWARD BOUND OF MARIN FACILITY
LOCATED AT 190 MILL STREET
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1993, Homeward Bound of Marin received approval to
expand an existing emergency shelter from 30 to 40 beds, including a 800 square foot
expansion; and,
WHEREAS, conditions of approval required the applicant to secure a use permit time
extension by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, on March 27, 1998 Homeward Bound of Marin submitted a use permit time
extension application for a homeless facility located at 190 Mill Street; and,
WHEREAS, Homeless Bound of Marin submitted a March 20, 1998 letter requesting a
fee waiver in the amount of $640.00 for a use permit time extension for a homeless
facility located at 190 Mill Street.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of San Rafael that the
requirement for payment of Planning Division application fees for the use permit time
extension is hereby waived; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any application fees which have been paid to date
for this use permit time extension shall be refunded to the applicant.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City on Monday, the sixth day of July, 1998, by the following vote,
to wit:
